As a photographer, I spent years capturing stories through light. But when my family and I moved to Calgary, Alberta, and I became a mom—something shifted.

The vast skies, towering mountains, and ever-changing atmosphere connected with me in a way my camera couldn’t quite contain. I felt an urge to translate that magic through a medium that could truly express its energy.

After playing with brushes and canvas during my daughter's fleeting naptimes, oil painting quickly became my vital form of expression.

I like to think of my art as energetic portals that ground us in the divine power and beauty of Mother Earth, and remind us that we are not separate from nature—we are part of it.

My true-to-life colours and soft, romantic approach to oil painting are largely inspired by film photography.
