Hi, I’m Sam, an artist based in Calgary, Alberta.

My journey into painting began after years as a photographer, and deepened profoundly when I became a mom. Photography taught me how to truly see light, colour and emotion, and that love carries through into my art.

Through soft colour palettes, glowing light, and whimsical storytelling, I aim to create artwork that feels both playful and meaningful. Colour is my love language.
